Postcard from Oz

A good friend of mine found out on Friday that her husband is a cowardly liar. And there is no wizardly cure in all of Oz a cowardly liar. (He is also starring as the tin man and his best friend Ace is the scarecrow, but they are fresh out of hearts and brains in Oz as well).

There was an emotional tornado, but her house landed completely whole and even the cats were fine. And you know how cats hate a change in the house. A few things got lost during the storm... but we all need a little clutter purge once in a while, right?

We were too tired to find the yellow brick road, let alone follow it, so we ate pasta and watched a movie. We are also both getting over the flu, so there was no singing or skipping... but there was lots of talk about where the cowardly liar could stick his angst.

There is even a wicked witch... but she is centrally located. We were unable to drop a house on her or destroy her with a bucket of water, so we're hoping that at some point the flying monkeys turn on her and rip her to shreds. Knowing the flying monkeys as we do we are certain that this will happen.

Dorothy is going to be fine. She is an incredibly strong gal with a lot of support and a great house.
