This never happens.
Never.

You'll notice that in the first picture Sammy looks sort of annoyed and their paws are sort of stretched toward each other. That was the beginning of what usually becomes a battle full of hissing and carrying on.

Magically, they settled and actually rested fairly close together. Before this picture was taken the closest they had been (while relaxed) was on the green chair in yesterday's post. Neither of them slept like this - each kept one eye on the other.
But it's a start.

I will try to remember this on Live Like a Cat Day. That naps are more important than grudges or personal boundaries.
